Dear Aspirant,
There are primarily two important reasons:-
1. Interest in pursuing engineering from IITs and NITs. Some students have their dreams to study in top Institutes.
2. Financial reasons. Fees of top private colleges is lot more than those of top government colleges.
hope this helps. Thank you.
Hello Aspirant,
JEE Main offers a candidate admission in NITs and IIITs. And JEE Advanced offers candidates admission in IITs, IISC Bangalore and IIST Thiruvananthapuram. There are the top and deemed colleges of India sought by almost every Engineering aspirant. Private universities are definitely good and they offers good placements no doubt. IITs and NITs can offer better. Their infrastructure, education, academic, facilities, faculties are top notch. That's why students prefer to drop a year for preparation.
