why the angle to find slope in straight lines is always measured from positive side

Hello dear aspirant.
It is a rule of mathematics. And rules are never to be challenged . Sometimes people interpret it that it's so because X positive is the positive real axis but it's not satisfactory reason. So we can say it's a conventional rule to be followed.
