Why the Maths marks of 10th Std are required in admission of physiotherapy?

Below is the eligibility criteria for admission to physiotherapy:-

Eligibility Criteria

  • The basic qualification for pursuing Bachelor of Physiotherapy course is a pass degree in 10+2 or Higher Secondary Examination or equivalent with a minimum aggregate mark of 50% in subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Biology. There are many colleges in India that provide physiotherapy courses.
  • To pursue a course in Bachelor of Physiotherapy, candidates need to pass in CET (Common Entrance Test). Admission is merely based on the CET scores.
  • A candidate seeking admission to BPT course, he/she should be at least 17 years of age.
