Hello,
For admission to National Defence Academy, candidates should have passed class 12. This is the standard fixed by the Union Public Service Academy. Selected candidates for the three services - Army, Navy and Air Force will be given preliminary training both academic and physical for a period of three years at the National Defence Academy. The training during the first two and half years is common to the cadets of three wings. All the cadets on passing out will be awarded degree from Jawaharlal Nehru University Delhi.

Hello ...
Thanks for contacting Careers360..
The age limit for NDA is 16&1/2 to 19&1/2 . If your age lies between this limit then you can appear in the written exam and may clear it depending on your level of preparation ( which is a difficult task for a 10th passed guy as the NDA written exam covers entire 11th & 12th syllabus for mathematics, physics and chemistry).after clearing the exam you will be called for ssb interview. But problem starts now.... first step at ssb is documents verification where they verify your information. One has to produce either certificate of passing 12th class exam or certificate of studying in class 12th by your school principal. So if you can satisfy these conditions then go ahead. Wish you all the best.....but best way to join NDA is appear for both written exams NDA1 & NDA2 ( as this exam is conducted twice in a year) during your 12th. IF you wish to have feel of exam and to know the level of exam or just want to try you can appear for the exam in 11th itself( just for your practice purpose :) )
