Hi!

Let me clear the air of all the doubts here. As per the previous year datas, around 13.26 lakh students appear for NEET every year and there are only around 66000 MBBS and BDS seats across India. Therefore a screening test for the best deserving students are totally necessary which is the reason why National Eligibility Entrance Examinations are held every year. You can't possibly give everyone a seat. This is why there are allotment procedures and counselling held.

Hope your queries are cleared.

Have a great day!
