why there is quota for single girl child than multiple siblings
Hello,
Two factors led to the adoption of this policy:
1. To promote the adoption and upbringing of females.
2. To control population growth.
Many families believe that females are a liability, so they murder them even before they are born. If a family does have daughters, they may choose not to educate them because they believe that they must travel to another location and perform domestic chores like cooking.
Additionally, a lot of families desire boys, so they keep having children until they do. India's population has already peaked, and the country is unable to afford any further births. These factors limited its usage to single girl children. If it were supplied for three or four females, people would continue to produce without considering the effects.
Thank You
