Why we have subjects like Engg drawing, Environmental etc in CSE
Aayushi,
A First-year engineering subject student studies subjects related to all streams like Engineering drawing, Information technology (computer programming), environmental science (ecology), electronics, basic of civil engineering, applied mechanics etc. This is purposely taught so that student is well aware of basic terms/ fundamental of other engineering branch. In real life, oftenly, no particular engineering team works alone instead they work as a team. For example: A CSE student studies electronics fundamental so that later in his/her career one is capable enough to work with team of electronics engineers and can easily understand the terms of the electronics working of the computer to make better applications and devices.
Similarly, in future if a structure (for example: a building) is to be constructed, then it needs assistance of a civil engineer, electrical, mechanical engineer, architecture, may be more sometimes. A Team works better if they understand each other language (fundamentals) easily!
one should take 1st year subjects seriously, as they are easy to score as well.
I hope this was helpful!
All the best!
These are extra papers added by top authorities of various educational boards in order to attain awareness and knowledge in various other areas that are necessary too for future point of view as well as to create a well rounded individual.
I hope this helps.
Well, during your 1st year in engineering, you have to study everything which comes under the umbrella of being an engineer.
However,as you go through it,you'll eventually land up with your branch papers in the upcoming semesters.
This is done because an engineer, irrespective of his/her branch, has to know all the essentials of being an engineer and are as per the norms of the AICTE.Therefore, take yourself through this time and enjoy the subjects of your passion when your branch papers come.
Hope this helps.
