AAI Recruitment Through GATE: Airports Authority of India (AAI) recruits GATE qualified engineers from various disciplines. Last year, recruitment drive of the company was to recruit approximately 542 Junior Executives (Civil, Electrical, Electronics and Architecture) posts based on GATE 2019 Score . Keeping that into consideration, we can make a safe estimate of a similar drive to recruit more engineers to be employed with the organisation in 2019 as well.
The pay scale for the positions of Junior Executives advertised by AAI in 2018 was in the band of INR 40,000‐3%‐INR 1,40,000, with the total Cost to Company per annum estimated at approximately 9.1 lakhs. The posts did not warrant any prior experience.
The registration process of recruitment drive is completely online. The application fee is INR 300, however, reserved category candidates are exempted from paying the fees. The last date to apply online for AAI recruitment through GATE 2019 is April 28 (tentative).
The eligibility conditions for AAI recruitment is listed below:
- Citizenship: Applicants should be Indian Citizens
- Not more than 27 years for Unreserved Candidate.
- Not more than 30 years for OBC candidate.
- Not more than 32 years for SC/ST Candidate.
- For Ex‐servicemen, age relaxation is applicable as prescribed by Govt. of India orders issued from time‐to‐time.
- Relaxation by 05 (Five) Years for the candidate who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period 01.01.80 to 31.12.1989 and candidate has to provide the certificate for the same issued by District Magistrate/Block Development Officer/Sub Divisional Officer at the time of document verification.
- The Date of Birth as recorded in the Matriculation/Secondary Examination Certificate will only be accepted.

AAI Recruitment Eligibility – Academic Qualification- Qualifying degree acquired through distance learning/part time or equivalent qualifications such AMIE/Certificate etc. will not be acceptable.
- Applicants should have scored minimum 60% marks in a full-time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology from a recognized/ deemed university or from an apex Institution (like IIT) recognized by Government of India.
