Dear Satyam, as of now, everything is speculative. Until NTA or AIIMS release any official notification regarding this, nothing is definitive. But there are 2 possibilities that might happen. AIIMS might prepare its own merit list based on its own eligibility criteria like AFMC and other Institutions and DGHS might conduct the admissions because AIIMS doesn't belong to any particular State. AFMC conducts a TOELR test, psychometric test and a final interview before shortlisting its Candidates. AIIMS might follow this rule. Nothing is certain at this point in time. We need to wait to hear from the concerned authorities.
Hello there!
Greetings!
Yes , you have heard it right, there will be no more aiims ug and Jipmer ug entrance for admission into mbbs. Both aiims and Jipmer have been included in neet now , so admission in all the medical colleges of India including all the aiims and Jipmer will be based on marks obtained in neet , so you need to prepare well for it.
Thankyou
Dear Aspirant,
AIIMS and JIPMER are included in the NEET exam from 2020 and there will be no separate examination for AIIMS and JIPMER. The selection will be solely from NEET exam ranking list.
AIIMS and JIPMER will be the part of counseling process and therefore the students can choose these colleges in order of their preference. Moreover, there may be some changes subjected to introduced in the days to come.
Hope this helps. Thank you.
