No, the candidate will not be allotted a seat any other than the category he/she has chosen. If the candidate has chosen general category then they will be provided with general category seats only. Those who opted for seats under reserved category shall be provided reserved seats only. There was an option to change the category but now it is too late since the counselling rounds have already been started.

So, the question you asked isn't totally clear to me, but i will still try to answer it. If a student belonging to a category reservation, got the same score as that of a general category candidate, then the one with category reservation will be prioritized because of obvious reasons, that is, he has a reserved category, and therefore, the seat will be allotted to him/her .
