Hi Shlok,
For an MBA degree there are 2 options. Either you can do it from an open University (Distant Education) like IGNOU,Sikkim Manipal or you can get it by taking a full time course.
For full time course you need to clear one of the competitive exams like CAT, XAT, NMAT, SNAP, IIFT. But for giving these exams the minimum qualification is graduation with atleast 50%. After getting good score you will be selected for GD and PI process by institutes. Once you clear these then you can join a good MBA college. The course duarion is of 2 years. You can select any specialisation of your choice (Finance, IT, HR, Marketing, Operations)
If you have an experience of 3-5 years then you can also go for executive MBA that id for the duration of 1 year. Its focus more in the field that you have worked so far (relevant work experience).
Option two has more market value but it need little bit of more efforts. Now it depends on you which way you want to select for persuing MBA.

Hi Shlok,
The basic requirement for an MBA degree (which is a post graduate degree) is that you should have an undergraduate degree from a recognized university. You can apply for a seat in any MBA college in the final year of your undergraduate or any time after that. Different institutes have different formats for gaining entry. There are different exminations like CAT (mainly for the IIMs but used by almost every other colleges), XAT (for Xavier schools of management - XLRI, XIME etc.), MHCET (MBA in Maharashtra), SNAP (Symbiosis institutes) and also GMAT (to apply for business schools in the USA).
The entrance exams are only a primary screening process and after that you would have to go through Group Discussions, Writing Ability Tests and a Personal Interview,
All the best

The following is the procedure-
1)
Get a bachelors degree in a subject that interests you.
Since the MBA is such a broad graduate degree, you can choose practically any major. Think about what you want to do after you get your MBA and choose your major based on that.
2)
Participate in extracurriculars in college.
Your extracurricular activities dont have to be related to business. When you apply to business school, the admissions board will want to see that you were active in areas outside of just school.
3)
Take the GMAT,CAT,GRE or any other entrance examination-
GMAT is the most popular standardized test for getting into business school, but many business schools will accept either one of the three. GMAT emphasizes quantitative data, such as math skills, while the GRE has a stronger emphasis on vocabulary.
4)
Get real-world work experience. Most MBA programs dont hire candidates who are straight out of an undergraduate program. If you want to go straight from college into business school, having a job during college that will show the admissions board that you already have some business knowledge. Otherwise, plan to work for at least a year or two before going into an MBA program.
Hope this helps.
