If we go for the job opportunities after Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, you cam apply for junior level posts in private or government sector. You will get job on positions like Technician, Supervisor, Junior Engineer, Clerk etc. in the government sector.  You can also give various entrance exams for private and centralized banks like SBI.

To get jobs for higher positions, you should get certificates like CNC Training, CAD/CAM Training, Catia, and Unigraphics etc. Or you can also do B.Tech. and apply for higher positions.

After completing Diploma in mechanical engineering you can find jobs in Oil and Gas companies, power plants, refining industries, automobile companies etc as junior engineer, technician or other job titles. However you can do some job oriented courses or trainings in CAD-CAM, Tool Designing, AutoCAD etc which are most probably 6 months or 1 year course to ladder up your career.
