general cutoff of any exam depends upon the number of candidates appeared in the exam , total number of seats available and difficulty level of the exam, so here cutoff may also depends on some other factors which may come through this global crisis so it would be difficult to tell you exactly what is going to happen, for now you can consider that the number of students who will appear for the exam may decrease if exam will conduct and even if exam cancel so again chances for cutoff being high are positive and it may vary according to the decision taken by the ministry of HRD.
Best of luck.
Cut offs depend on various factors such as total no .of seats available, difficulty of the exam, previous year cut offs, no.of Candidates appearing for the exam and no.of Candidates applying for a course. So it is difficult to predict right away. But irrespective of the cut offs, we can help you prepare for JEE with the help of our Knockout package: https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-jee-main-april/
Please look at the previous years cut offs for JEE Advanced at our page: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-advanced-cutoff
You need to know your syllabus and understand the exam pattern. Make a plan and stick to it. Make a note of the books to refer from and practise as many mock tests or sample papers as you can.
Divide the syllabus into Class 11 and Class 12 and the topics as "Need to Learn", "Weak" and "Strong". Now it is important to check the weightage of each topic. In Physics, Modern Physics take the top slot with 5 questions. Heat and Thermodynamics, Optics, Current Electricity, Elcetrostatics get 3 questions each. Magnetic has 2 questions and the rest get 1 question each. In Chemistry, Transition Elements and Coordination Chemistry, Periodic Table and Representative elements take 3 questions slot. Thermodynamics and Gaseous state, Atomic structure, Chemical Bonding, Chemical and Iconic Equilibrium, Solid State and Surface Chemistry and Nuclear Chemistry and Environment get 2 questions slot eacch and the remaining get 1 question each.In Mathematics, Co-ordinate Geometry gets 5 questions. Limits, Continuity and Differentiability, Integral Calculus get 3 questions slot each. The rest get 2 and 1 questions slot. For complete breakdown, please read our article: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-syllabus-weightage . Once you complete a topic, try to practise the concepts and write down the important points and paste them somewhere that you can see. Practise questions from that topic. Refer to books like:
Concepts of Physics by HC Verma
Fundamentals of Physics by Halliday, Resnick and Walker
Understanding Physics by DC Pandey

Hello,
We cannot predict that because cut off is not something we can determine before the exam. Cut off is calculated after the exam depending on number of candidates appeared, difficulty of exam, number of seats available, highest score etc. If the difficulty of exam is high then the cut off will be lowered similarly all these factors decide the cut off. So you need to wait until the declaration of cut off for both JEE Main and JEE Advanced and it will slightly lower or higher than previous year.
