Delhi University offers a reservation as prescribed by GOI for all the BSc and BA courses. For the BSc Hons in Physics, DU have 9 EWS reserved seats. so if you have EWS certificate then you can use the reservation criteria.

But EWS certificate doesn't guarantee your admission. As there are many students in EWS the competition is there also. So you need to have a good marks (the average cut off is over 95%) along with EWS certificate in order to get a reserved seat.
