will gate coaching content help in college semester exams ie can it be also considered as an online tution for college. because i dont find any extra support for college semesters like e learning apps etc when surfed on internet,the aim is to study the topics of a class which is not understood

if you are talking about engineering then you just have to go on learning through internet as the topics we are taught in class are basic and if you want to learn more you have to go through internet. and yes gate coaching will help you for your higher studies if you want to pursue m.tech from a very good college then you have to go for gate exam and have to clear it with good marks.
