Yes, there are two types of seat some percent of the seats are filled through gb pant entrance exam and some are filled through ICAR exam. Following percent of seats are filled through ICAR.
- For undergraduate courses 30 percent of sanctioned seats (except B.V.Sc. & A.H.) are allotted to ICAR and 15% of sanctioned seats of B.V.Sc. & A.H. programme are allotted to VCI.
- 15% of the sanctioned seats of B.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering) are filled up through ICAR.
- For masters programs 30% of the seat will be filled through ICAR.
So state seats will be filled through university entrance exam and other seats through ICAR or other exam as applicable for the course
