Outside Delhi students are eligible to take admission in Delhi Technological University.
Out of the total available seats in DTU, 85 percent of the seats are reserved for candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from an institute located in National Capital Territory of Delhi (NCT) Delhi.
Remaining 15 percent seats are available for candidates from Outside Delhi Region.
Candidates are required to fulfill the eligibility criteria for admission. Eligibility Criteria is as follows-
- Candidates are required to have minimum 60 percent marks in aggregate of Physics, Chemsitry and Mathematics.
- Candidates must have studied English as a subjects and have passed in the subject at the Senior School Certificate Examination Level.
- Each of the subjects are required to be passed individually also by the candidate.
- Admission of the candidates will be done on the basis of ranks in the JEE Main paper 1 and Counselling for admission is done by Joint Admission Counselling Committee, Delhi (JAC).
Cutoff for admission is released branch wise, category wise, etc. Cutoff varies every year depending on various factors such as the difficulty level of the exam, number of seats, etc. As you are interested in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering branch, I can provide you the previous year cutoff for both the branches for reference.
The cutoff of round 6 for Outside Delhi Region was 3070 (JEE Main paper 1 rank) for General category candidate for Computer Engineering (COE) branch and
7346 for General Category candidate for Electrical Engineering branch.
