Will I be eligible for the NDA exam if I am 17 years old

Hello,

Yes, you are eligible to appear for NDA provided that you must have passed 10+2 or it's equivalent from a recognised board. The age limit is 16.5-19.5 years. For admission in to Indian Naval Aacademy and Air Force Academy a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and for admission in to Indian military Academy a candidate must have passed 10+2 in any stream.

So if you fulfill the above eligibility criteria you can apply for NDA conducted by UPSC.

  • Should be an Indian national

  • The candidate should be an Unmarried male

  • Minimum education qualification required for NDA is 10+2 (Army), 10+2 with Physics and Maths (Air Force & Navy)

  • Candidates should fall in the age group of 16.5 and 19.5 years
