The Thakur College of Science and Commerce (TCSC) is a college in Kandivali in Mumbai of Maharashtra, established in 1997, running by Thakur Educational Trusts. The college is affiliated to UGC, NAAC and Mumbai University. The cut-off for BSc Biotechnology is around 70% (3rd merit list). Though there are other colleges that you can get into with this score which include colleges such as Patkar College.

If you consider getting into other branches such as microbiology, life sciences etc, you have a pretty good chance of getting colleges like Jai Hind, KC, Mithibai and such other top names. But for Biotechnology, the cut-offs are usually high so you might not be able to get into top tier colleges.
