Dear Aspirant,
You have fewer chances of getting BTech as last year's closing rank for BTech degree was around 1700 at the end of the 7th round.
So, you can wait until the 7th round as the closing rank keeps on changing every year. But I would recommend you to take a decent branch in some other IIT.
