Chances of getting chemical engineering for 76k is low. According to previous sources closing rank for chemical engineering is around 20,000. Cut off will vary year to year. Rank is based on toughness of exam and number of candidates appeared.

VIT does not generally release their cutoffs. But looking at previous year statistics, it seems quite difficult for you to get chemical engineering with this rank. Usually, the admissions close at 60 k. There might a small chance in the category 4 admission. You can definitely try via management quota, you might be able to get the seat.
