Let's say you were allotted a seat in Round 1 in Deemed University and you do not want to join the College, you can opt for Free Exit. This is an option wherein you will not be penalised. And you can choose not to appear for Round 2 of Counseling. If you do not participate in 2nd round of Counselling, you will not be penalised but the security deposit will be refunded to the same amount the payment was made from. But this will happen after all the rounds of Counselling are over.
