If 14 lakh students applied this year, then your rank must be 84000. For general category students and non residents of haryana, the cutoff rank 2018 for mechanical engineering, round 2 was 45483 opening and 63600 closing. In previous years like 2017 and 2016, it was even less around 3916 opening and 24000 closing. So I don't think that you are getting mechanical at ymca.

Sorry for the error in my data. 9 lakh students applied for jee main this year. So your rank must be around 54000. Rest of the data is correct. So based on ymca 2018's cutoff opening rank for mechanical engineering was 45483 and closing rank was 63600. So you might get mechanical engineering branch at ymca.
