Hello aspirant,
To be precise yes you can, you said you don't like chemistry but you might be aware that chemical engineering is a branch of science which uses the principles of physics , chemistry, maths , biology, economics to use , design, transfer, transform energy and materials
So in this you will study about different principles, basics of physics ,maths , chemistry, biology, economis and in each semester you will different subjects related to them
As you don like chemistry so you don't need to worry because you are not going to study only chemistry in this ,apart from chemistry a lot of things will be there of physics and maths and you will will to understand them
Moreover jhadavpur University is a dream university for a lot of youth ,if you are getting admission in JU then you can expect the placements and package will be high and you will have a good exposure there is have heard that JU is also famous for its practical implementation also ,so a bright future is waiting ahead
Hope it helps
there will be very little chemistry involved in Chemical Engineering. But you may have to cope up with some basic subjects like Physical and Organic Chemistry as they are mandatory. If you love Maths and Physics, you can really like Chemical Engineering. Subjects that are involved in Chemical Engg are Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, Mass Transfer, Momentum Transfer, lot of Maths (differential equations, probability, matrices, mathematical methods), Transport Phenomena etc. These are really some of the fascinating subjects and really hard. Chemical Engg is one of the hardest branches but if you are interested, you will enjoy it. Chemical Engg also has immense scope for research, some of the research areas include:
