Hi Pranaav,
Thanks for asking, I would say,"
- A big NO. Papers are of similar difficulty level. The board wouldn’t want some students to have an advantage just for the mode of exam, right?
- From childhood, students are accustomed to the paper-and-pen format. It is certainly advantageous as you get to have a rough outline of the questions altogether, without having to jump screens and tabs as in online.
- It is easier to see and write on the paper itself, as compared to cranking the neck up and down each time, ( unless you’ve taken around 100 tests in that format). (Also, solutions can be done besides the question itself in offline. You might lose the region of rough space you were working in for online)
- Online shows you a ticking timer. It makes one nervous, like hell.
- Well, I just want to say that we as Indians, are hardwired for the paper-pen format. Online mode is not much of a difference as per difficulty level and is certainly recommended for casual exams and Olympiads ( especially because offline choice might give you far-flung centers)
- It’s really a choice of the candidate. The fee is higher for offline, so that has no meaning with regard to the difficulty".
Good Luck!
