Yes you can get stipend in nits which are provided by aicte . Aicte provide gate scholarship in which student who want to pursue m.tech from nits,iits etc. Are eligible for an scholarship amount of rs. 12400 per month.

Scholarship durations- 24 month or completion of course whichever is lower.

Eligibility-

1.Candidate must be pursuing m.tech

2. Must have valid gate score

Note- you are required to work for around 8 hours week with your professor in research related task. You can also work as teaching assistant.
