Dear Aravind, I shall answer this with an example. Until couple of years back, CMC Vellore had its own entrance examination. They would conduct the exam, shortlist Candidates and then call in for final interview and select them. Even for the sponsored Candidates, the process was the same. Ever Since NEET came into picture, only admissions are conducted through NEET score and rest all has its own process. And AFMC has its own eligibility criteria. The counselling is conducted by DGHS on behalf of MCC and AFMC. The basic consideration is NEET score and the process might change. Here as well, nothing will change. The difficulty of the exam and the theory behind it will not change. Everything will remain the same. AIIMS and JIPMER together add approximately 1700 seats to the already existing 95000 MBBS seats. When the availability of the seats is more, the cut offs will decrease. This is the only factor that will be directly influenced. The difficulty of the exam totally depends on your preparation.
Dear Aspirant,
This cannot be said for sure that the exam will be difficult or easy. Moreover, the difficulty is a relative phenomenon. What may be difficult for you might not be for others. However, changes can be expected in NEET due to the merger, and also the exam pattern of the three exams have some differences also.
You can expect a different difficulty level from the past year NEET exams. However, don't be stressed about it. You should prepare with your 100% efforts. Here are a few links to help you in doing so:
