Will scoring good marks in 10th board affect the quality of colleges of polytecnic diploma or it is only based on entrance exam?

Hi dear,
Mostly admissions are based on the entrance exams but still there is some minimum requirement of marks in 10th class which to be fulfilled.
Some colleges may even offer admission directly on the basis of 10th class marks.
So for admission through entrance exams also,you must fulfill the minimum marks criteria of class 10 to get admission.
