will st. stephens college conduct entrance exam in bsc hons phy?
Dear Devasish ,
If you are wants to join Bsc (Physics ) courses then you need to sit for an Aptitude test conducted by the college, based on which the shortlisted candidates are invited for the Interview.
Apart from that we are discuses admission procedure with all details like marks and Categories wise joining like SC,ST ,General ,OBC cast categories ,sports quota and disabilities categories .
- Admission is granted on the basis of the merit list prepared as follows: Class XII Marks (85%), Aptitude Test (5%) and interview (10%).
- Applicants belonging to Persons with Disability (PwD) category are exempted from the written Aptitude Test. In such cases Class XII marks will have 85% weightage and the Interviews will have 15% weightage to determine the composite merit of such candidates
- If you are applying for admission under the sports category are called for sports trials. Admission is such cases are granted on the basis of composite merit to be determined as follows: Sports merit (30%), Field Trials (35%), Class XII marks (20%) and Interview (15%)
Hope it will helpful
Thanks
St. Stephens is the top science college in India. It is affiliated to Delhi University (DU). DU release merit list every year to give admission in various courses in the colleges affiliated to it. Admission in St. Stephens are done through the merit list based on class 12 marks. As there is huge competition, the cutoff marks are higher every year. The only way to get admission is through merit list.
No entrance exam is conducted to give admission in any course. So, to take admission you have to fill the application form and you have to wait for the cutoff list to take admission in bsc physics hons.
