Will state boards syllabus is also included in neet 2018 or only cbse?
NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
By now, I'm pretty sure nearly every state board might have inculcated the significant changes.
NEET-UG is entirely based on the curriculum decided by the CBSE board and NCERT textbooks are a staple demand for your preparations.
The difference if any exists between your state board and the NCERT textbooks can be easily covered with a bit of extra efforts.
As per the Medical Council of India which was erstwhile a body and was regulating the terms of Neet in collaboration with CBSE, which will now be taken over by the NTS, the syllabus for the Neet examinations is completely based on the NCERT curriculum
So this state board syllabus is not a necessity and does not hold any priority regarding the Neet syllabus pattern
However it is needless to say that the topics which are studied are included under the state board curriculum in physics chemistry and Biology at your class 11 and 12 levels are almost the same with the NCERT if you are from CBSE Board
Even if you are from the State Board of ISC board, even then the topics are important chapters like mechanics and Optics from physics chapters from zoology and botany from biology, and molar equivalent concepts of Organic Chemistry nomenclature and reaction mechanism from Chemistry, remain essentially the same
So if you prepare well for Bose comma and have a regular practice of MCQ and you are good with your time management and questions election skills which can be acquired from the smoke MCQ examinations and repeat practice tests organised by Institutions like Aakash or Allen, then you are heading well towards getting a good rank in scoring well in neet
But still i would suggest that you purchase ncert books too and see if there is something new or different.
All the very best
Hope it helps
Only CBSE syllabus is included for NEET. There is no board syllabus for NEET.
But CBSE and your board syllabus will overlap in may chapters and it will be easy for you to study.
Hopefully it helps

dear aspirant,
As far as neet is concerned the syllabus is from ncert only. You should read ncert thoroughly. And you also need to study the topics in bit detail( this may help in scoring higher)
Wishing you luck!
Hope it helps!
hi priya, neet will consist of CBSE syllabus predominantly but they could ask you from anywhere, i shall tell you how to prepare to score well
Physics and chemistry- physics is considered one of the toughest subject for medical aspirants, but very interesting. choose any good book of your convinience, there are plenty of good books as many mentioned already. read the concepts thoroughly, understand them cover to cover, if you have doubts, clear them then and there. solve atleast 300 to 500 questions per chapter, check ,analyse and rectify your mistakes. solve again. the more you solve the merrier.initially you wont be getting many correct answers, but as you keep on doing am sure you will see your score rising. solve previous question papers too
Biology- in neet around 300 marks are from ncert text book itself, thats how it was when i gave my exam, so u need to thorough ncert first and then read any good book of your choice and solve as many questions as you can, always stay calm , cool and confident, hope this helps good luck
-
Syllabus for NEET and state board is same as state board's official books are NCERT and for CBSE it's also NCERT.
- So need not to worry but just read your state board syllabus along with specific MCQ books and you will get through this .
