Will the cutoff for general category and ews category remain same for mbbs 2020 like it was in 2019 or the difference will be more?
Hello aspirant
Cutoffs are bound to change every year depending upon factors like
Difficulty level of examination
Seats available
Candidates scores etc.
The scores of candidates changes every year and so the rank changes and only the selected candidates based on merit list get admission.
Cutoff of neet 2020 is expected to have really much difference than the cutoff of previous years as this year the performance was much better.
Cutoff is usually the last minimum score a candidate got admission in a college and it even varies from one college to the other.
We will only get tired know the cutoff of neet 2020 once all the admission processes are over.

Hi Aspirant,
Though EWS is the new criteria, so there is no yardstick for it yet.
But, generally, cut off of EWS remains lower than the General category in other examinations. In some of the examination, the cut off for EWS went even more down than OBC and equivalent to SC/ST.
Nothing can be said or guessed now, which will be clear only after the counseling depending upon the available seat and applicant.
