Greetings Sai!

Hope you're doing great.

Yes, the new bill allocating 10% reservation for the economically backward class will affect the NEET-PG 2019 exam. However, the bill had been passed in both the houses the implementation policy is under observation and there is no official notification for the same. Please, check out the official NEET-PG counselling website for regular updates.

The minimum cutoff to clear exam will be 50% (general) and 40%(reserved category) marks respectively. The candidate who will qualify the exam will be eligible for counselling. The counselling session will start in the first week of April. An AIM(All India Merit) list will be prepared based on category i.e General, OBC, SC, ST, PH and EBC(Economically backward community).

All India 50% quota for admission by Medical Council Committee will be reserved for qualified candidates and rest 50% will be available for reserved category who have scored minimum qualified marks/percentage in their reserved category.

Hope this will help.
