The university would firstly inform you about the payment of fees, how to pay, it's amount and other relevant information along with a particular day or date deadline.

If you fail to pay, or if you have any problems paying the fees before the due date, you can contact the university via their phone number or email provided by them on their website.

But, sometimes, if you don't pay fees after the deadline, the university confirms by calling you if you are interested to pay the fees . If you are not interested, then your admission is cancelled. But, if are, then you can tell them that I have a particular problem and that I want some more time to pay the fees and want an extended new deadline to pay the fees.

Not all universities call the candidates to ask them whether they will pay fees or not after the deadline is gone, they directly cancel the candidates admission.

So, it's good and well of you pay the fees before deadline. And if you have any problems paying it, you can contact the university for the same.
