Hey!

There will not be any deduction at all if you don't change your stream. As you have studied commerce with mathematics in 10+2, and you wish to pursue any commerce field like maybe economics or mathematics or B.Com., then you will face no deduction. The guidelines clearly state that the subject in which you want to pursue your graduation should be included in your Best four subjects percentage calculation.

There will be deduction if you have not studied your field of study in 10+2. For example, if you wish to pursue Political Science Honours, then you'll face 2.5% deduction as you have not studied it in your class 12th.

Same goes with all other courses. There will be 2.5% deduction when you plan to change your stream and wish to pursue those subjects which you haven't studied in high school.

Hope it helps!
