Will there be any GD PI rounds in MBA CET for colleges other than JBIM?
No. After the declaration of CET result, counselling and CAP rounds start. You need to register for counselling, if you want to take admission in Maharashtra colleges. This can be done by directly logging in through you MHTCET ID or else you can fill the form through your CAT,XAT scores. CAP rounds are the ones, which has admission and seat allotment process. Fill the choice of Institutes with highest preference to lowest preference in descending order. If you get the first choice allotment, then you are not eligible for next rounds of CAP, meaning that you must take admission in that college. All rounds of CAP are as follows:
1. Direct Allotment - Seat allotments for state, home university and other states is included.
2. Stage l and Stage ll - This is CAP Round 1 and has 7 stages.
3. Counselling Round lll- Maharashtra state candidates are eligible for this round, whose names have appeared in the state merit list.
Hope this information helps you.
All the best..!!!
Greetings Ashutosh!
Hope you're doing great.
I assume you're talking about Maharashtra state entrance examination to enter into MBA course. MHT-CET is a state level entrance examination for MBA course. The examination is conducted by DTE, Maharashtra once every year. Recently, the result of the successful candidate has been uploaded on the official website. I guess you must have gone through the details.
Now, coming back to your question, 'YES' you're right. Group discussion and Personal Interview rounds are only applicable to Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), Mumbai.

The preference of every MBA aspirant applying for MHT-CET is JBIMS, for some obvious reasons. The total batch size of the institute is 137, which is sanctioned by AICTE. Students can also apply through CAT, MAT and XAT examination as well. I'm sure you must have gone through the admission and eligibility criteria of the college. The college cutoff mark is high compared to other institutes offerings similar MBA course.

For the rest of the college admission, you don't have to go through the whole Group discussion and Personal interview rounds. For the rest of the college, you've to apply through MHT-CET official site. Once the results are declared the successful candidate can apply for the respective college through
CAP(Centralised admission process)
, which will start in the month of June. Admission will be based on the merit list, which will be prepared as per the marks secured by the students.
