Dear Aarthy, though Central Government closely works with MCI, the Government at the Power has got little to with NEET.  NEET has been there even in the current Government's regime. And actually all the State Level Entrance Examinations have been scrapped in favour of NEET. So, NEET will continue to be the National Level Emtrance Examination for admission to Medical, Dental, Ayush and Veterinary colleges across India.
