I too have a doubt about it, but now its cleared. I have seen this answer in google.
You need to pay fees in IITs. JEE advance is the examination conducted for admission in IITs and aspirants who clear JEE mains get chance to appear in advance. The fees in various IITs differs but on you will have to pay around 10 lakhs for a complete B. tech course.
