Will top 20 percentile hsc Maharashtra state for 2019 will decrease or increase. Since paper pattern is changed in 2019

Hello Sankalp,

Percentile score means the percentage of candidates who took part in the exam and secured lesser marks than the candidate in the exam. The percentile score naturally changes every year as the number of candidates changes every year. So, as for your question, yes the 20% percentile for HSC will change and should increase in all probability as the number of candidates increases every year.

The top 20 percentile was starting from 70.8% in 2018 . Then it will start from what percentage in 2019

I think the top 20 percentile will decrease this year because of pattern change and introduction of JEE in January month, as this resulted in decreased focus on boards. In the commen, you wrote that the top 20 percentile in 2018was 70.8, but the score is calculated from marks out of 500 and no in percentag.
