For girls, Long sleeves are not allowed. No embroidery, big buttons or zips are allowed. Your dress shall be simple and half sleeved with no heels or shoes. Which means no half shoes, no crocs either. You shall wear sandals or slippers. No sort of leggings or jeggings are allowed. You can wear trousers or palazzos. No jackets or coats are allowed either. Jewelry should be avoided because the metal detectors can stop you and you do not want to waste your time at security check up while you can prepare yourself mentally for the huge exam that you have. No jewellery means no rings, no bracelets, no earrings, no anklets, no chains. Your hair should be tied in a bun or pony tail if possible and not leave any space for speculations with open hair. The only rule is to keep it as simple as possible with no room for speculations.
For boys, no fancy zip pockets, chains hanging from the pockets, no belts and no elaborate embroidery. No big buttons either on the shirts or trousers. No full sleeved clothes. Avoid collared clothes as much as you can. And no Ties. No crocs. No jackets or coats or crocs. You shall wear sandals or slippers. Only light coloured clothes and trousers are allowed.
If you are planning on customary dress, you need to select the option as "Yes" in the NEET application form and you need to be atleast 30-45 mins before for the security check up.
Items like Watches, Wallets Handbags, Goggles, water bottles are not allowed. If under any circumstances, you cannot adhere to these guidelines, you need to take an approval from NTA.
