Will UGC give stipend to EWS candidate who got JRF and enrolled in Phd in General Category? There are no such category for Phd in almost all the Universities. Please Answer

Hi Aspirant!
The EWS category was introduced from the Dec UGC-NET exam. Since, it was the first time that this category was introduced, there details from each university has not been released yet.
However, if you have qualified the exam with a JRF, you will be allotted stipend ever month, for pursuing PhD, as per the UGC-NET rules.
