Management quota actually means donation in some way.

To meet up the competition many colleges allow their administrative department to give few seats to their known people, who eventually sell the seats and ask for the donation.

Generally, management quota seat depends on the college you choose. Also, all the colleges varies it's donation fee every year. Moreover, if you get a seat through counselling, then it's not a management quota seat, it's a counselling seat. When you don't get a seat through counselling and go for management quota seat in deemed or private universities, then you'll have to pay donation. However, donation changes year to year and college to college. Also, some colleges don't even ask for donations even for the management seat.
