With 10 days to go for cat ! I will complete my semester exams by tomorrow! Can you give suggestions on what has to be done in 10 days ?
As only 10 days are left for CAT exam so instead of preparing any new topic or chapter, you should revise the basics of everything which you have already studies. Take at max 2 days and brush up on your basics, your basics really need to be very very strong.
Along with this give at least 5 online mock test and analyse the solutions of each mock test. By analysing means you need to see the approach you used for correct questions is best or else there is another way to do it which will save your time. Along with this you need to check out solutions of each incorrect questions. You need to see whether there was a silly mistake, a step mistake or whole approach was wrong. Finally you need to see unattended questions to check out where you got stuck.
This solving of online mock test along with analysing the solutions will help you in overcoming your mistakes and making up a strategy to attempt the paper which will definitely help you in improving your marks and percentile.
Believe me analysing is very very important and if done properly then it will definitely help you score way above then your expectations.
One more thing scoring 60 percentile will not fetch you anything. You will neither get a call from any IIM not you will be able to get admission in any good college.
Aim to score atleast above 75+ percentile to get calls from new IIMs. For getting a call from old IIMs you will need to score above 85+ percentile and for top IIMs above 90+ percentile.
Work hard on your baiscs quickly, give online mock test, analyse their solutions properly and keep an aim for a very high percentile.
All the best for your preparations and exams!!
