Btech- GN(14587)             OS(822)Mtech(dual degree)-- GN (327)                                       OS(24) This is how my rank card looks like and i m not able yo understand what that OS stands for and what is this mtech dual degree rank and if i could get any gov college with my dual degree rank

OS means your rank among the ones who have applied for UPSEE but are not from the UP state.There are two types of degree. Btech degree is the normal one where you study for 4 years and then gets graduated with a BTech degree.In a dual degree, you complete your BTech as well as MTech in 5 years that save your extra year.However, you cannot pursue MTech degree from another college and do not get a BTech degree separately.So, choose accordingly whether to do BTech or dual degree.Also, your rank depicts your position among the ones who have gone for the dual degree as well.hope this will help!
