With 55 in mathsin +2. Am i eligible for afcat?

As per the latest eligibility criteria released by India Air Force for AFCAT 2021 the candidate should have minimum 60% marks in both mathematics and physics in class 12 and along with this you must hold some required qualifying degree of graduation which is different for different branches such as flying branch, ground Duty (Technical/Non-Technical).
So you are not eligible if you have scored 55% marks in Mathematics in class 12th. Now what you can do is you can apply for improvement exam and can improve your percentage.

The Eligibility Criteria for AFCAT is as follows:
FOR CDSE(Men Only):
- Age - 20 to 24 years (at the time of commencement of course)
- Nationality – Indian
- Marital Status - Single
- Gender - Men only.
- Educational Qualifications

- Graduate (Three Year Course) in any discipline from a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level)/BE/B Tech (Four Year Course).
- Final Year/semester students are also eligible to apply, provided they produce Degree certificate issued by the University as per the date stipulated in the advertisement.
- No Percentage Bar for CDSE entry.
NCC Special Entry (Men and Women):
- Age –20 to 24 years (at the time of commencement of course). Upper age limit for Candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxed up to 26 years(at the time of commencement of course).
- Nationality - Indian
- Marital Status - Single
- Gender - Men and women.
- Educational Qualifications

- Minimum 50% marks in each in Maths & Physics at 10 + 2 level.
- Graduate (Three Year Course) in any discipline from a recognised University with minimum 60% marks or equivalent.
- OR
- BE/B Tech (Four Year Course) from a recognised University with minimum 60% marks or equivalent
AFCAT Entry:

- Final Year students are also eligible to apply, provided they do not have any backlog at the time of AFSB Testing and produce Degree certificate issued by the University as per the date stipulated in the advertisement.
Since you are applying through AFACT, it requires minimum 60% marks each in Maths and Physics at 10+2 Level. Unfortunately, NO you are not eligible for entry to defense services through AFCAT.

Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in both mathematics and physics in class 12 and should have age between20 to 24 years (Born between January 2, 1998 to January 1, 2002) to be eligible for AFCAT. Indian Airforce has released the AFCAT 1 2021 application form on December 1, 2020. AFCAT 2021 application form has been released in online mode at @careerindianairforce.cdac.in and @afcat.cdac.in. The last date for AFCAT registration 2021 is December 30. Candidates need to pay the application form of AFCAT 2021 in online mode through Debit/ Credit Cards or Net Banking.
