Dear aspirant,
It is quite difficult to predict the situation as it varies every year depending of the number of students attempting the exam, the difficulty level of the paper and the preference of the students.
CSE is one of the most competitive branches in NIT.
90 percentile will most probably yield you a category rank of around 3 K. Usually, the closing rank for the top 10 NITs CSE branch is usually around 1.5 - 2 K. Hence, we can say it is quite difficult for you to get CSE in top 10 NITs .
Yet, there is a possibility for this situation to vary depending on what your home state is as this prediction is based on the assumptions that the top NITs are not in your home state.
Yet, you have possibilities in other NITs like NIT Arunachal Pradesh, IIIT Srirangam or you can get least preferred branches like Chemical and Civil in the top NITs.
Please check the rank predictor for getting more accurate predictions.

Hope this helps.
Hello,
Congratulations on securing a 90 percentile in jee mains so let me tell you that there are chances for you to get in the top NITs but the cse branch is not possible because the cut offs are higher for that.
You can opt for core branches like mechanical, electrical, chemical, civil, metallurgical and materials engineering in NITs like Jamshedpur, durgapur, Silchar, allahabad,Patna , Goa. However certain conditions like choices filled by the candidates, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and toughness level of the paper.
