Dear aspirant;
If you are in General category , recent statistics say that around 45k rank , home state quota seats have had been filled. But , don't get disappointed or distracted, look for other opportunities. Maybe you can get a seat at NIT GOA if seats remain vacant. You never know what's there for you in the store.
Getting a seat also depends on other factors so keep trying with your sincere efforts.
Thank you.
All the best!
Depends on which NIT you want to opt for. Every NIT has different cut off. You can get the previous year cut offs of various NITs in Careers360's website itself.
I think, you should try for other Engineering examinations like VITEEE, SRMEEE, UPESEAT and BITSAT. These are one of the finest private Engineering colleges in India.
Don’t get offended, but I don’t think you would get a decent College through your rank.
You can also keep a plan of a year drop, and prepare seriously this time.
ALL THE BEST.
Hope this helps :)
It depends on your branch preferences.
For getting into 5 top nit with any branch, for a safe side you need to get 150+ but to get a preferred branch 200–250 would get you a good branch moving above with your marks.
thank you.
Dear Aryan,
According, to previous year cut off you have less chances to get NITs based on your rank and category in other state quota.
You might have chances in your state quota.
Can you tell me your home state?
