Hi aspirant, since you have 69650 rank in your JEE mains exam. If this is your AIR than I suggest you that there is no sense to take a drop this year you should go with the same rank in the exam. Even on this rank as well you can get into NIT with the branches except CSE;
- NIT, Nagaland
- NIT, Sikkim
- NIT, Patna
- NIT, Srinagar
- NIT, Raipur
- SVNIT, Vadodara
Etc.

Hello student,
Hope you are doing well. Actually this is a good rank, there are chances to get good colleges with this rank. So my advice is that you should wait till the counselling and that if you didn't get any good colleges then you should go for or dropping the year.
Actually each and every year the cut off trend changes that's why it is quite impossible to tell about which colleges you can get or not. Also you have not mentioned that which category you belongs to. And which branch you want to get in in . If you belongs to any such special categories you can get in some branches like chemical engineering, instrument engineering, in top colleges like
- NIT Agartala
- NIT Silchar
- NIT Puducherry
- NIT Meghalaya
- Etc
You easily can go to this link below and predict your college according to your requirements
