The previous year cut off for OBC candidates to secure a seat in government medical colleges in Tamil Nadu was around 554 and this year too, cut off is expected to be along the same lines. So, it will be difficult for you to grab a government seat, even with reservation.

I am also mentioning the cut off for your category so you have a fair idea-

1. Coimbatore Medical College- 611
2. Madurai Medical College- 605
3. Villupuram Medical College- 575
4. Thanjavur Medical College- 596
5. Thoothukudi Medical College- 571
6. Theni Medical College- 580

However, the cut off for deemed medical colleges go quite low (around 300). You can apply in colleges such as SRM Medical College and Chettinad Medical college which are considered to be good medical colleges.
