with a score of 550 can I get a govt MBBS seat I am obc category please mention name of college Kerala resident
Hey aspirant,
With a score of 550, you should be able to get an MBBS seat in Kerala. Though it may be difficult to get a seat at a government medical college, you should be able to get admission at private medical institutes like Azeezia Medical College, Meeyannoor, KMCT Medical College, Manassery, Karuna Medical College, Palakkad etc., based on previous years' state merit list cutoff. Dear aspirant
At first congratulations for your result and best wishes for your future.
Analysing cut off and opening and closing rank trends of previous years I am afraid to inform you that you may not get any seat for MBBS in government medical colleges through All India counselling for 15 % seats despite of OBC category . Based on previous year's cut off some of medical colleges of Kerala you can get through state counselling for 85 % states are
Pariyaram Medical College, Pariyaram
Government Medical College, Thrissur
Government Medical College,
T D Medical College, Alappuzha
etc.
however you can face some close calls that is you can get or miss some of the above mentioned colleges by mere marks or rank difference.
