with Rank 4926, is it possible to get admission in VIT, Vellore , CS branch in Category 1?

On account of Covid19 pendemic this year VITEEE was cancelled and now the result have been announced. The last year closing rank for CSE in VIT Vellore was 7000 and and you have secured 4926 rank. So it is possible for you to get CSE there.

Your rank is very decent which can tke you to top branches like CSE and IT. There are different factors like category, number of seats available, number of students applied etc and all these decide the cut-offs but inspite of all these you have secured a good rank.
As we know that cut-offf for this year has not been released yet so If we go through cutoffs of previous years' then with this rank it is possible to get Computer Science and Engineering in Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore or any other campuses.
For Vellore campus, in 2015, the closing rank for the branch was around 15000 and in 2016, the closing rank was around 7000. The closing rank for CSE in other campuses are even higher.
